There were many things I enjoyed on this trip. Most of all the ample time for taking photographs. I remember the waterholes in Etosha National Park, where we were sitting or standing in the bus for hours watching animals wandering to and fro, or the game rides, on the monster truck or some other vehicle, ashore or on one of the impressive rivers. I remember all those zebras, jackals, springboks, rhinos, elephants, lions, impalas, kudus, ostriches, giraffes, gnus, buffalos, hippos, cormorants, bee-eaters, rollers, kingfishers, eagles … I even grew fond of our little white bus with the worn-out suspension, which sometimes made us jump to the ceiling on some bumpy road. I have taken pictures by the thousands, and it took me weeks to sort them out. In the meantime, I put some of them on my website, http://www.katrinzueger.ch. Actually, it was one of the most informative and inspiring trips I ever undertook. Thanks to Christian and Regula Heeb, and thanks to Jan Friede!

This trip to Namibia and Botswana was absolutely fantastic!!! We saw lots and lots of animals, from lions to zebras, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, ostriches, hippos, very colourful birds etc. We experienced magic sunrises/sunsets and wonderful landscapes. Our group of 9 people had great experiences and lots of fun. Even though this was a photos workshop, I went for the adventure, others especially for the photos, others just to enjoy. There was something for all of us! I can really recommend to everybody a photo workshop with Christian and Regula Heeb. Thanks to both of you for making this trip so special!

It was the best trip I made up to now! The country, the animals – but most of all Christian helping with his great knowledge and answering every question (also the stupid ones 🙂 and Regula taking care of everything! Was a great time with you and hope we will have the chance for another trip to these countries!
